We called ahead since there were 10 of us. They really can't accommodate larger groups, but it didn't stop them! They had half of us at a table sticking into the waiting area and directly across from the door. It was cold, windy and people waiting were literally standing over our shoulders, some of them coughing, while we ate.

I go for breakfast and its always good. They could use some new tables and chairs to update some. The chairs are not very comfortable. But the food is always good and they have a friendly staff.

Wanted to love it, but food was not impressive and they did not have waffles OR apple juice when we went. They have a market next door , as the manager I would’ve gone there real quick to serve what we were ordering.

Food is very good. Service is always excellent. Place needs a face lift. Old needs revamping. But if you don't care about atmosphere food is priced fair and quality is very good. I go there for breakfast offen.

Had dined here a couple of weeks ago and I had just gotten around to writing this review.I went with the wife for breakfast.Decided to eat indoors.Everything was wonderful.From the greeting,to the service,to the food,to the Good Bye.All safety measures were practiced by all of the employees working there.I’d Definitely recommend this family restaurant as a “Go To” place!

Menu is mostly homestyle foods which I really like. Service is fast and the food is cooked well.

Basic food options, decent prices, friendly servers. A little light on the portion sizes if you are a big guy and hungry. Very clean and good coffee.

decent family style restaurant,needs updating but prices a little higher than expected or should for quality,but food is expensive to buy and general upkeep of a restaurant, if you donot have a constant brisk turnover,so I pray they survive. They are needed!

Friendly and good

I've been a patron for many years and the food and service has been consistently good. A hidden gem of sorts, you'll feel as if you were in Lancaster with the comfortable atmosphere and good food. Service is always friendly. Priced right for families too.

It's a nice friendly family homely place. The staff are very friendly, the cook knows how to cook to order. The meals are just what perfect. I try to go once a week, the 2 hour round trip is worth it.

Very good food but they need more choices. Like all you can get is French fries or cole slaw. How about potato salad or macaroni salad. They need better salad dressing. The pancakes are ok. Could use a little more flavor. Add some vanilla. But all in all a good place for a good meal

We go here often to grab a vanilla eggcream with their tasty german pancakes. The employees are wonderful and always take great care of us.

My friend lives about 5 minutes from this restaurant, so I have been there a few times. Matter of fact; was just there last night for dinner. One of the specials was short ribs with mashed potatoes. Yummmm. Came in this huge dish that reminded me of a big spaghetti serving bowl. Meat was extremely tender, real mashed potatoes. (Not from a box) my friend had the grilled chicken with roasted red peppers, and Cole slaw. She loved it. Oh, my meal came with a soup. Had the potato and bacon soup....delish. if you need a snazzy/ ketchy place, this is not for you. If you want great food with great service with a homey feel, this is for you. Reminds me of being in a mom and pop place off the beaten path that cares about the food and customer, (Hidden gem) You can't go wrong here. So much food I brought a doggy bag home.
